The CNN footage of the Palestinians dancing in the street was shot in 1991. CNN says that footage was forwarded to it by the Associated Press and Reuters, and it was dated Sept. 11, 2001. The network assumes that's correct. Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, who condemned the terrorist attack, reportedly attributed any celebrations to a small band of children.

This is a bit unclear to me. Is the rumor that the footage was from 1991 but really was current? Or that it was shot in 1991, and reported to be shot in 2001?

Too bad you people can't read Russian, every russian news site, such as lenta.ru, or gazeta.ru have forums in which people talk about their feelings on different situations... this was no different.

so let me try to bring you a glimpse of what's happenening...ok so parse out the cursing...ok here we go. I'd say about 97% of all people, who have responded in the forums say
"I HOPE THESE ANIMALS ARE BURNED and TORTURED, and same should be done to their families." the other 3% don't like America but are saying the same exact thing... i saw only 2 posts of people saying, well maybe they shouldn't be killed but educated... and 1 post (by a muslim) saying that America deserved it for their perverted way of living.

Yeah, even some of the crazy leftist communist crapola i've been sifting through has discounted the rumors by the brazillian student whose professor happened to have an exact copy of the footage, but was conveniently unavailable. :rolleyes:
