Be warned, you'll have to deal with insufferable *******s like me that want to know why the hell we're still using Lotus Notes and why my NT4-based box with half a gig of ram and a P4 runs slower than my old P3 laptop with 250 megs of ram.

2 full time positions in Emeryville, one part-time (most likely to develop into full time) in Los Angeles.
"Primary Responsibilities:
Support the users of PC's, printers, network connections, and desktop software in the office where they are located, on a day-to-day basis. In some cases this position will work as part of a team to support several offices both locally and/or remotely
Responsible for limited technical support and operation of the various networks and microcomputers installed in LECG offices
Must be available by pager and cellular phone to provide technical support to all shifts in the event of system problems
Interaction with vendor representatives on an as-needed basis
Position Requirements:
"-An Electrical Engineering, Computer Science degree, or equivalent experience is required
-A minimum of three years experience in hands-on and user support for hardware and software products is required
-MCSE, A+ certification and experience in a law firm is beneficial
-Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
-Very strong verbal and written English communications skills
-Ability to work independently on several projects concurrently
-Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel within the firm and at the corporate office
-Demonstrated ability to handle pressure in a professional manner
-Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment, meet current needs, and keep abreast of technological advances
-Experience with multiple operating systems, computers, and networks
-Excellent knowledge of DOS/Windows/Windows98/NT/2000 and NT Server
-Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as required"
