Hey... I read somewhere on the internet that the news footage that CNN showed of the Palestinians celebrating was old footage from 1991. Has anyone heard anything about that? Is it true?

Folks, this is a perfect example of question turning into rumor turning into fact.

No basis in fact has been proven.

As well, LOCAL photographers for Israeli newspapers have similar shots. Since the demonstrations were public, if they didn't match reality, there would have been a massive outcry

I wouldn't be too quick to trust Israeli media to report on the Palestinians. They have a big reason to skew the facts. I'm not saying they did, but it wouldn't surprise me.

It was on one of those website with rumors and the status clearly said false... someone posted that website yesterday i think, i just can't find the thread with it
