Girls Got Deals ?

I guess I missed that disscussion, because I just realised GGD today, when i saw it mentioned in one of the threads. I am just not sure what is the point of it?

Well, let's see:

1) When's the last time you saw more than one or two deals for women on the deals page except on the weekend?

2) How often do you see us (women) posting something about periods or tampons or vagina without getting flamed or embarassed?

3) When was the last time you saw ANY news geared towards women posted on the news page? (I'm not saying there SHOULD be. I love reading the news & deals. But sometimes a woman would like to hear the latest of health news or whatever.)

Got|Apex? is a site almost 100% geared towards males, from the tech deals to the news to the forums. We women love it here (most of the time ;) ) but we thought some women would like to have someplace they can let their hair down, so to speak. That explain it?

Maybe, just MAYBE, its a way for people to release their artistic talents.

Maybe, just MAYBE, its another way for people to gather to talk about whatever they want, just like on this board.

look, the guy dint say it was a stupid idea. he just doesn't understand (like most of the guys around here) why any girl would feel uncomfortable about certain things, or excluded. call them oblivious if you must, but ******* is uncalled for.

I guess you are right walfareloser, I am not quite understand why women want to segregate from men, I am sure we could discuss any male or female topic on any boards in G|A. But I guess sometimes, women just need to get their own women-talk chat, i can understand that.

I don't understand that either. But I guess the girls need a place that they can call home too.
