With disaster hanging over every American's head now, do you think that certain things will still have the same importance that they did compared to a few weeks ago? Examples:

1) Really fast computers
2) 24x CDWriters
3) Megapixel cameras
4) Wireless gadgets
5) Broadband connections, and so on

Do you think that cases involving frivolous lawsuits will just be thrown out instead of wasting time bringing them to court?

Will retirement plans be a big concern?

What about the recording industry and the Microsoft cases? Do you think that the government will take a relaxed stance against Microsoft and Napster-like businesses?

And if Americans decide that many of these things are really not that important, will that affect our Economy drastically?

It's business as usual, with a couple small canges and one big one. The changes are going to be a weaker economy untill the war gets up to speed, George Jr. will be popular now.
The big change is focus. For the past decade America has had no focus. No real goal. Nothing to drive toward. We have all milled about aimlessly, in our own direction. Now we have a direction, a target. Osama bin Laden. Every American will devote some time and effort to driving toward this target, indirectly or directly. Revenge, hatred, vengance, justice, hope for a better world, all these things focus against him. We are moving toward our future, for better or worse, but we are moving. I believe it will be for the better. America has an enemy again. We will fush him out and kill him. Then we will destroy all those who would be like him. We will remind the world why no one wants us as an enemy, and why you do want us as your friend.

But, other than that, business as usual...

fixing the economy...hmmmmm...

I don't think any president can really claim they 'fixed' the economy....it just kinda fixes itself with extenuating circumstances...

did FDR really fix the economy??? Though those programs were good and all, I think war time was what really fixed it...
did Clinton 'fix' the economy???ha....no, it was Al Gore, cause he invented the internet :D

Bush has already accomplished things. His handling of this terrible situation has been good. If you don't think so what would you have done? Are we supposed to go in half-cocked?
