I went to Powells book store the other day with my friend. He wanted to buy the book entitled "Steal this Book." They had to keep that book behind glass because people kept stealing it. So he had to find someone to get the book. Then they escorted us to the front counter to buy the book. Has anyone else heard of this book? Also, I think there is a movie called "steal this movie"

cool so if you steal it and they ctach you they can't do anything to you because they are tempting you to do it... plus you can use the "But the book told me to do it" excuse

Hmmm... I't thinking that would work just as well as "The voices in my head told me..." excuse.

No, because what LPM doesn't know it's that i already stole this thread from him and have changed it into... Popeye smokes crack thread
LPM doesn't know about it yet, because i didn't tell him that i am taking it... this would constitute the whole stealing aspect

The person we are trying to steal this thread from is Rev. Evil. Who steals it doesn't matter, just so long as it gets stolen. I was thinking that giving it over to prop'in LPM was as good a cause as any...
I have that book and the follow-up, Steal This Computer Book 2. Both are good reads. They have some really stories, like the time that someone got Nixon on the phone and declared that there was a toilet paper shortage in LA. Too funny.

I think we should use this thread to talk about the weather. Saturday is supposed to be nice, but it might be rainy Sunday. Fall is getting close - I've seen a few trees already turning colors. By the way, Sunday the 23rd is my wife's and my 23rd anniversary! :)
