I almost choked to death on tuna a couple weeks ago. I inhalted it and couldn't breathe it was scary as crap. Then I couldn't talk a little while after it happened and my throat was so sore for days. Then yesterday my boss made me laugh when I was trying to eat and I started choking on chicken a little, but that wasn't as bad. Argh.
Yikes, I'm glad you're ok.

Yeah, I hear Bill Buckner and Steve Smith also have problems with choking. Just remember, if you're alone and choking either
a) climb up on a table and jump so that your abdomen lands on the top of a chair or;
b) Run into a door handle.
I'm not even joking. I spent my youth as a lifeguard, and some of the videos and illustrations we had in some of our training materials were straight up uproarious. Seeing people run full tilt into a closed door was priceless.

ive heard of thrusting your abdomen into the back of a chair but i dunno bout jumping off a table... i think thatd do more damage then it would help. Frankly i think id rather just sit there and choke then break my ribs and probably my leg.
