My new Dell computer came with NAV 2001 with 90 days of subscription downloads. I can't figure out how much it is going to cost me to add 12 months once my time runs out. Trying to decide if I should just spend the @$18 dollars and buy it outright or upgrade when my time runs out.

Incidently, my new Dell system sucks (8100 w/ 1.5 GHz P4 and 512 MB). I think there is a HD problem as it buzzes for no reason... a static buzz, not like a HD crunching buzz. It will buzz randomly for about 15 to 30 seconds and then stops, almost like a bearing gets wacked out and then rights itself. Haven't called Dell on that yet... been meaning to run with the case open to try to isolate the buzzing first. Plus Win ME sucks. It stinks B*A*D! Still considering returning the whole system. Blue screens all the time. Is that normal for Win ME?? Win 98 SR2 has been great. Everything I read says XP "is really the OS you want" but they always say that about the "next" MS OS while the current product suckages. Sorry, just hear the buzzing and felt the need to vent. Pardon me.

I recently got Norton SystemWorks Pro 2001 for $11.00 + 4.62 shipping from http://www.directdeals.com/product.asp?id=376
Since it will give you antivirus updates for a year plus the whole SystemWorks, I think it would be your best deal.

I'm returning the Dell 8100. I'm reordering this (http://www.gotapex.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=31014) Actually going to save some $$ and get a free Palm hopefully.

I'm getting Win 2000 Pro, if anyone cares. Windows-Me stinks!

I'm not about to pay this much $$$ for a system and then have it blue-screen on me all the time.

Anyway, thanks for the link on Norton SystemWorks. I'm ordering it!
