defi gauges a must. i used to run vdo, then i went to hks and greddy. then i tried autometer. the defi link is by far the best bang for the buck now

the defi has peak hold also with 30 sec memory playback. the thing i liked about them compared to my old apexi and greddy stuff was that it links directly to each other so you dont have to keep drilling or connecting to the engine bay when you add more gauges later on, like egt, fuel pressure, etc. and they are all eletronic. dont get me wrong, i like the apexi and greddy, they cost alot and arent any better than the defi. even the guys at apexi use defi gauges = )

roll the defi is nice i have the greddy because they have white faces to match my white dash faces
defi does not have white ..well i have not seen any!! only thing i dont like about the defi is the main brain box its rather big my friend has it in his older supra so you need a big glove box or area to hide the brain at!
..again its a nice guage and yes the link system is nice but i like the look of the greddy and apexi better (indiglow also looks sweeter)

as for drilling i did not have to make one hole you just have to know where to route the wires thru!
also some of the defi guys use the greddy and apexi guage too ;)

defi has white face now. and the box is about 4inches so its not that big. your friend might have gotten a older one. anyways i like them too cause the white face. i go tthem in my mr2 and works great.

I've got the Blitz Dual which is a turbo timer and boost gauge with peak hold as well. I really like it. Only downside is that the backlighting does not match my interior lighting. But I really only use it when I am racing anyway, so no biggie.

Isn't the boost gauge for the wrx a dealer option? OK, $520 is kind of harsh, but it won't void your warranty. :)

well, i talked to the subaru dealer, and they said that installing a boost gauge won't void my warantee. of course they always say one thing and go back on their word later on. i was just not too fond of paying $520 and losing my clock on top of that. i'm just trying to find a shop in the sd area that does quality work for a decent price.

rollhard i saw the defis in person my friend has it in his car very very sweet looking but the box i dont like but the options on it are great ..this is a must look at only one now i recomend over that one is the apexi one and only because it has a higher reading (wich i will need going single on my supra tt)other than that very very nice item

well if you plan on adding other items in the furture(egt ,oil pressure etc..get the defi it will save you loads of time in install!
