i have always called them "ticket bastards" for this very reason
i noticed that they will charge you a shipping charge, plus a "convenience charge." party on
i for one will actually see acts at the catalina jazz club cuz they tend to NOT use ticket bastards

now i need one more ticket...
Damn.. $96 for one ticket?? I went to the PopMart tour a few years back and tickets were $60-something, but I got mine free cuz I had a photo press pass for the event :-) The U2 backstage photo pass is still glued to my P133 tower. That was a damn cool concert.. I got to be in front of the crowd bar for three songs to shoot pics, then they took all the photographers backstage and make us surrender our gear to a locked/guarded trailer if we wanted to see the rest of the show, since the encore was a surprise with the revolving lemon deal. So at the end of the show we had to meet back at the front of the stage to be taken backstage again to get our gear, except the stupid rent-a-cops looked at my badge and didn't know what to do with me, so they let me go backstage unescorted! Hehe.. My friend had to wait at the front of the stage for me, and while I was gone she saw Kevin Costner walk right past her toward the side entrance, to escape without being noticed.. or so he thought. What a wild night.. i have pics of traffic backed up all the way on I-5 to get to the concert about 7 miles away, people in SUV's driving through the grass on the shoulder of the road in an attempt to get off I-5 ahead of everyone else, and the cops chasing them down and issuing tickets.. hehe!

It has allowed you to have two browsers open? The last time I did that I was trying to get hockey tickets, and I almost lost them. I had two browsers up trying to get the best tickets. Well when I finally got the ones I wanted, I went all through the process and got to the very end, when it told me that an error had occurred, an error that is most often due to using two browsers trying to access the same event.
Does anyone have any other tips for using their online site to get tickets? I'm in NC, and I'm trying to get some NY Rangers tickets when they go on sale Wednesday, so I'm at the mercy of their crappy online ticket selling system. Should I go online or use the phones? Here's the numbers they give you that you can call to get tickets:
(212)307-7171, (516)888-9000, (914)454-3388, (201)507-8900 or (203)624-0033
I'm a huge Rangers fan, and I'm dying to go see a game at MSG. Anyone in NY that could give some advice would be greatly appreciated.
