Ok personally I can't stand Pokemon. I find it annoying how they keep saying their own name yet they can understand what other people are saying. WTF? Anyway, I'm kinda forced to watch it because my gf takes over the TV to watch it. She even made me watch the damn movie. So if I had to pick a fav it would be Mew

as for kids tvshows that I absolutely could not stand.....Power Rangers.

geez, at least pokemon was a cartoon and somewhat cool..
PR were a bunch of bad actors/actresses that tried to do martial arts and look all spazzed out as they were doing it!!!

Now THIS one's gonna get me flamed for sure, but here goes:

While the OLD Power Rangers series were crap, they've actually gotten quite tolerable with the new seasons (In Space, Lightspeed Rescue, and Time Force). Sure, it isn't for everyone, but I myself have enjoyed them lately. I don't buy the toys though, I just watch the show.

.....and for those who say it STILL sucks, honestly you have to admit that if nothing else, Ransik (the main villian in Time Force) is cool -- with his knack for pulling the sword out of nowhere).

While I've never sat through an episode of the 'new' ones....they still look like spazzes when I'm flipping through channels, and happen to catch an 'action' sequence... :)

i'm with you on this one! i love power rangers. (more the IDEA than the actual show... but hey, whatever, i still watch it...)

and the movie was fun as HELL. i actually wound up in a popcorn-throwing fight with some 7 year olds. at the end of the movie, they jumped over the backs of their seats and started beating the poop out of us (we were all in high school, and a bunch of fairly large guys except for me, so it was just really funny.)

maturity continues to elude me...

Yeah, the IDEA of the show = VOLTRON...a far superior and ANIMATED version of power rangers....

Of course, now the new Transformers is on, and it's pretty cool too (went back to the animated style)

I remember seeing a couple of the first Voltron series, with all the different vehicles. It seemed like it was more of a serial in format as well, with all the different characters developing and interacting over the episodes, instead of each plot fitting a half hour show.

i thought transformers were the coolest toys, better than robotech or gobots or voltron... but WHOA was the cartoon ever a stinker. i recently bought the dvd of the transformers movie. my recommendation: DON'T. i'd honestly rather watch... well, not barney, but definitely blue's clues...

Dude I loved transformers toys (only had one :() but they would never make that cool sound when they transformed like in the cartoons :-P
