Since it's freezing here-I have officially bounced off the summer menu's to the winter menus..today before I went to work I put some beef and onions, celery, carrots,a bit of flour, some soy sauce, gingersnaps(crushed),a bay leaf or two,and water into the crock pot. Then I quickly whipped up some dumpling batter and poured that over the top..when I got home tonight the whole house smelled yummy and cozy. Now that I stuffed my face, I'm sitting letting my waistline expand wearing my slippers, fuzzy robe and sweatpants..gosh, I love it when it gets cold :) What did YOU have for dinner?

Just finished a nice, tender chicken burger with teriyaki (sp?) sauce and melted cheese. Tasty.
