Custom Avatar settings should be changed......

It states:


Note: the maximum size of your custom image is 75 by 75 pixels or 5000 bytes (whichever is smaller).

I tried to upload a 60x72 pic that was 6000 bytes but it said that I couldn't because it was more than 5000 bytes. In this case "whichever is smaller" would be the size in pixels.

Why no workie?

I'm betting they just worded it badly. I bet it means that it can be no larger than 75x75 AND no more than 5000 bytes. So, it could be 75x75 and only be 4000 bytes, but if it is only 35x46 but it 5500 bytes, then it is too big size wise. Dimension wise it is fine.

naw, tehy just lowered it to 2000, but if a bunch of ppl start posting like crazy just for that, i bet they'll up it to 3 or 4.

i dunno... i have noticed a couple of ppl who will CONSISTENTLY post replies to a thread two and three times in row, with some lame sort of "oh yeah, and..." slightly more subtle than "and closer..."
