So far, Inside Schwartz has been running away with it. As a guy who just got dumped, it was not only relevant, but as a massive sports fan, I found Dick Butkus's cameos hilarious, and Mills Lane wasn't bad either.
I'll tell you what needs to happen, though. They need to kill off a Friend. Preferrably Monica or something. That show is almost unwatchable now.
And Will & Grace: watched that for the first time, and I don't think I've ever seen a show more tailored to one niche demographic. Whoo, boy, that was one gay show! I don't even understand why a gay person would find it that funny. It was almost like they were making fun of gay folks for us unenlightened straight people!

despite the "50% of our jokes are about being gay" thing, i find will n grace hilarious. great cast. the neuroses of the characters all have original twists.
and the guy in inside schwartz is a hottie. so i will watch. :D
and if friends has one more group friggin hug (oh honey, of course we'll help you through single motherhood, it'll be wonderful...) i'm gonna puke. monica is definitely the worst character. courtney cox is a bad actress, period. i thought things would improve once the wedding crap was over, but now there's gonna be the pregnancy schtick... and probly the newlywed schtick... here's my predictions (if i get really bored i will put them in quatrain form to give them more authoritative weight...) first there will be all the "wow we're mr and mrs bing" crap... then the "oh no our first married fight" crap... at some point there will be jokes about the sex life dying at marriage... then there will be a crisis involving a possible love interest for one of the couple, some jealous slapstick stalking, and a tearful huggy-kissy resolution.
that said, they still have enough good jokes to keep me watching, so far.

If you look at the characters, they have the same basic flaws and comedic value as anyone on Friends. The show's still be funny if Jack and Will were straight, but be canceled b/c it'd be like every other show out there.
As for Inside Schwartz, I loved it, but I wonder if they can keep it fresh...

Undeclared was pretty damn funny . . . by the same guy who did Freaks & Geeks.
I'm really looking forward to seeing 24. That show is supposed to be very good. We saw a few clips of it in a presentation on the fall season that TV Guide gave to our agency.

I like Monday night CBS...King of Queens and Everybody loves Raymond. I like Becker too but that was replaced with Ellen (argh) unless they have it at a dif time.

god, Inside Scwartz was lame. sure the cast was great, but it isn't even remotely fresh, it's been done before, by other shows that bombed.
Now frasier on tuesday was a bloody riot. ER was entertaining for a change again.

As a single, Jewish, sportswriter I truly enjoyed Inside Schwartz last night. It was pretty hilarious!
Believe it or not, NBC's comedy starring Emeril Lagasse is pretty humorous. He's a pretty good actor. The show takes after today's television pattern by naming it after the main star. This one's called Emeril. (Then there's According to Jim, Ellen, Everybody Loves Raymond, Danny, The Geena Davis Show, etc. et.c)
Everybody Loves Raymond is one of the funniest TV Shows on ANY channel this year. His virtual non-acting is superb. He takes hilarious real-life father/husband/son situations and exaggerates them creating a great show.
Frasier is a fresh, well-written, always-entertaining show.
Survivor: Africa starts on October 11.
The Mole 2 (The Mole was literally a fantastic show) starts tonight.
The Amazing Race is interesting...
I have to watch a bunch of new shows for an upcoming article.

I had really high hopes for "The Agency" but wasn't impressed. They had to ditch the pilot though, so I guess I'll see what the next few episodes are like.
So far it's been  "Enterprise" :love2:, but I'm hoping to be swept away by "24." Guess I'll hafta wait and see. :D
