haha this reminds me of a situation at hardforum. What people were doing is posting threads and then deleting them. To stop that crap and unbeknownest to many, the option to delete and edit a thread had just been turned off. One doofus posted a thread with the word f:Pckers in it and couldn't delete it. The user name he was using was experimentals. http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?threadid=228902&perpage=15&pagenumber=1

favorite quotes from that thread: "sh1t it wont let me delete it. Uh oh i cant get banned form here f:Pck me someone help me out here"

This is why people can't delete their own threads. Also delete is disabled so trolls can't erase proof.

I just did an edit on the thread title of something I posted in the Deals forum (when I noticed a typo after I submitted it the firs time). Maybe once there is a reply you can't change it (which wouldn't have applied in this case)?
