Ok..I'm in the market for a new digi cam...

Would you recommend a Canon S300 or a Nikon 885??

Anyother suggestions?? I like the small size of the cameras...that's the main factor...

Thanks.

I'd suggest the Sony CyberShot P5, though I have seen and used the other two briefly. The P5 is TINY for a 3.3megapixel, probably the smallest with a 3x optical zoom.

Yeah, I looked into that, but aren't memory sticks and usb readers for those a lot more expensive than the CF ones??

S300 is a kewl camera but the only advantage it would have over a S110 is the 3X zoom. Otherwise for a lower price you get basically the same thing and the S110 is smaller which is kinda the point for buying the Canon elph series anyway.

You have any good suggestions for a camera in the price range of the Canon S110? I'm also in the market at the moment. I need to get a camera soon for a vacation I'm taking later this month.

the s110 is a good camera, ive always been a fan of nikon, simply b/c all they make is cameras, the D1 is one of the best cams, but i dont think u want to spend 5k+, i kno a couple ppl w/ the s110, and no complants, i dont kno any1 w/ the 885, u should go 2 a store and play w/ them
