It just started today. I've had a urinary tract infection a couple of years ago and it doesn't feel exactly like that. Right now, it only hurts as it is coming out. My bladder doesn't contract painfully, like it did then, and it doesn't really feel like a sting, like if I had scratched or something was raw. And it feels almost like I always have to go, no matter how much I just went.
Like I said, just started today, but is a pain. lol Also, I'm thinking it is a good thing, but...my urine had basically no color today. At all. I know the darker yellow it is, the more dehydrated you are, right?
Anyway, thanks in advance.

No offense kid, but you should go see a real doctor as opposed to asking us loonies for medical advice. It could be nothing, it could be serious, but in any case seek the advice of a professional.

could be a bladder infection as opposed to a urinary tract infection. infection is the most likely culprit, tho cysts/tumors/growths are also remote possibilities. your urine is probably clear because you have the urge to go so often.
the best advice, of course, is to go to a doctor... and until you can get in, drink lotsa water and juice.
It sorta sounds like a bladder infection...of course, I'm no doctor. I think you should make an appointment. I hope you feel better soon.

Could be a bladder infection...drink lots of cranberry juice and if it doesn't get better, go to the doc.

Hi Jenny,
I just refound "Girls got Deals" and read your thread.
Just wondering how you are feeling and it everything (pardon the pun) Came out alright?
FYI - there are now Over the counter treatments for minor bladder infections. One pill for the infection and another for the pain which is the famous one that turns the pee bright staining orange.

Because Judy forced me to, I drank more cranberry juice in a week than I have ever in my life. lol I feel much better! Thanks for asking!
(And yeah, the one time I've had a serious one, I got Azi or something like that for the pain. :) )

Ive heard both mixed opinions on the cranberry juice...I always drink a glass or two when I have that happen....but most important is to drink lots and lots of water! (we're supposed to be drinking 8 glasses a day even when we are not ill, but who has time to go to the bathroom that much). I did drink that much while I was pregnant, and was only able to get any work done because my office had a private bathroom, :)

Hi Jenny:
I am new to this forum-read your question- cranberry juice and yogurt helps to prevent UTI's..with UTI's you also see traces of blood in the urine or when you wipe. It hurts a lot and it could be a kidney stone as well. Hope you feel better.

Once upon a time, I worked in a health food store.
Drinking supermarket cranberry juice may require megadoses because it may be diluted or artificially sweetened(not good)
Health food stores carry 100% pure cranberry juice or better yet, cranberry extract such as Solary's CranActin which is effective against urinary track infection.
Paul D'Arco(spelling?) and Solary's Yeast-cleanse help against yeast infection.
Consumption of acidophilus bacteria orally, or intra-uterine can call also fight yeast infection and infection by harmful bacteria in general. It also helps to clear last year's meat loaf out of your system.
Olive leaf extract is a good naturally antimicrobial.
Don Quai, Damiana, and some other herbs can increase blood flow to the genital area which is a good way to clear out trapped waste and such...
IMHO. YMMV. ;)
