I don't even lurk, really... I don't come online too often (and won't until my F-ing T1 guy comes for installation). I'm only on G|A about once a week (like today i was reading Darth's GF3 Ti 500 review).

Hehe the other night I was flipping channels and happened to come across BlueTorch. I saw this tall ass albino lookin dude standing behind the main announcer, and I was like "PROMINX!!!". I watched the show, it was where they sent each one of those guys out to interview a celebrity. I didn't see much more than a couple of seconds with him in it, but that was mostly because there was some hottie on rollerblades that the camera seemed to follow. Hey, they know what sells!
At any rate, at the end of the show, they showed Prominx getting in a fight with some other VJ in training. It went...well maybe Prominx should divulge that info. Let's just say that Pro is not the next "Great White Hope". ;)
I thought it was pretty cool though. Prominx comes off alot cooler on TV than he does on these boards. So did you get the gig Prominx?

Oh yeah...that contest ended and they're supposed to get us the results today... Hmm...I should look inot that, but as you can tell...I got kind of bored with it and stopped paying attention. Hell, I only saw myself on BlueTorch (besides the commercial) once, and that was just me walking along the beach. Let's see what I can dig up on the results for this contest, but I'm betting that I took last place... Even I stopped voting.

Hmm...no news on the outcome from BlueTorch yet; maybe they delayed (wouldn't surprise me too much...). I'll have to watch the show today (I've only watched twice since the filming in Newport ended, although I used to watch every day).

ps - so many of my friends reported back and said they saw me on TV. my roommate from last year actually told me (via AIM) the other day that he had sen me on the show, which surprised the hell out of him because I forgot to tell him I was in the running. He also asked how it was that I could whip his football playing butt around and still be taken down by some mid-western fairy...

Bad news, buds...BlueTorch is in a period of "reorganization", which basically means that within a week or two, they will be declaring bankruptcy. My parents are debating serving against them to have them pay for the broken nose, and a few other contestants and I are debating serving against them for breech of contract...
