I have LDs I was going to E-bay. I have about 20 discs in my closet. Mainly action, adventure sci-fi guy type stuff (Star Wars Trilogy, Jurassic Park, the Crow. I think five or six are AC-3. I also have the "unedited" Who Framed Roger Rabbit. If you want the whole lot I would make you a nice deal. If you would like I can send you some pics.

Well, to make a somewhat long story, kinda short....

I remember watching LDs at my cousins house when we were younger. And thinking how cool the shinny discs were and how good the movies looked.
My cousin died in a car wreck a few years later. and I was just thinking back to the time I had spent there, and I remembered watching the LDs there, and thought it would be neat if I could get a player and some of the LDs we watched.

I am especially looking for a movie called Max Dugan Returns!!

LDs are actually a really good format visually.
I may be wrong, but if I remember correctly, you get a horizontal resolution close to that of DVD. More importantly, it is uncompressed ---> no blocky artifacts. The audio is very good especially the AC-3 DD titles(just like DVD).

The other two driving factors are
#1:
There are still many good movies not on DVD.
(Star Wars, Indiana Jones ect.)

#2
These movies can be bought for cheap.
