Who lives in Vegas?

I remember someone saying they lived there. Just wanted to know their insites on this town? I may relocate from California and was curious about jobs, houses and so on.

I live on the base here. So, I haven't been here long.
Umm, LOL, what line of work do you do? I mean, if you are in the hotel industry right now wouldn't be good.

Houses are going up left and right here! Prices are dropping. We looked at a few when we first got here. When looking, stay west and north :) West mostly. Summerlin is overpriced but really safe for the most part. Oh and Henderson is just southish of here and really good too.

Shopping and entertainment are wonderful. People are nice here too. I can find out other things too... really I can :) Just let me know what info you are really looking for. hehe (sorry goofy mood for some reason...)

Thanks Chrissy. I was just checking out the housing over there.. Here is the thing I just bought a house here in Cali but for some reason I am unhappy here (been here all my life) I have heard about Vegas and I might even try to fly out there to really check things out. Now why in the world would you want to move to Vegas?!?!?
I think its gotten more polluted over the last few years...specially cuz its between some mountains and stuff, all the yucky air kinda stays in the city.
