Went to see it this weekend. It sucked. Long, drawn out, boring. Not Anthony Hopkins best work. It almost leads you to believe he's gonna be a pedaphile and not a psychic in the beginning of the movie. The popcorn was good though. Thank god.

that's too bad. i had moderately high hopes for this one. the book was a bit of a slow burn, but really quite good. stephen king's books just don't generally make good movies, the exceptions being carrie and shawshank redemption. so much of what is good about his writing is what's going on in someone's head, and it just never makes it onto the screen very well.
