S: Anandtech Moderators

Apparently Anandtech moderators are culturally devoid, they have no sense of what a hookah (Egyptian water bong) is TRULY used for. No, it's not drug paraphernalia. That's so wrong. You smoke shishah (flavored tobacco, i.e. strawberry, apricot, etc) out of a hookah, and those that choose to smoke anything else out of it are disrespectful of the hookah tradition and are just plain stupid!

Anyways to the meat of my complaint, I posted a message on their "I Wanna" thread asking for good hookah prices and was very quickly deleted and banned without warning. Those moderators seem to have severely long, fat, spiked sticks up their arses and ban you on their personal (and highly prejudiced) whims.

Oh yeah, for those of you who don't believe me that hookahs are for smoking tobacco and not weed, go to this site, shishah.com (http://www.shishah.com) where you'll find out all about shishah/hookah smoking. At UCLA there's a hookah bar called Gypsy Cafe on Broxton, and at UCR there's one at the end of Iowa towards the 215.

I'd love to vent on the Anandtech forum, I'm just locked out. I've been lurking G|A for a very long time and I sensed resentment of Anandtech in many posts, so I thought this would be an appropriate place :)

Well actually you smoke Hashish out of it, but they can't say it because.. then it becomes drug paraphenelia... but in any case dud you should see my 3 footer, i brought it from Israel... made of beautiful egyptian glass, full brass stem, fuzzy hose... oooh i love it so much

yeah the mods @ anandtech do sometimes have a stick up there ass. but when you have 70k plus users i guess you have to do what is best for the site.
