just had one tonight. it was pretty swell :D . i'm still full from just the burger. it's like the commercial, actually. decent-sized patty, tastes like beef, has good veggies. it's really only like $4 for anyone who doesnt know what i'm talkin about. anyhow, i liked it :D

btw, i don't really like carl's jr! but this time it was worth it

Carl's Jr. is a west-coast restaurant...

The 6 dollar burger was meaty and juicy.

Actually, I've seen a bunch of Hardee's in Oklahoma that I guess got bought by Carl's Jr and then went out of business. lol Coincidence? ;)

Yum!! I love the $6 burger. Ya know, I had to stuff one of those in my pocket cuz the movie theater wouldn't allow outside food, and that thing was huge.

Do you guys have Roy Rogers or Arbys in CA? They make the best sandwitches.

sho.gun

Dunno about Roy Rogers but Arby's are pretty popular here in CA. Sad thing is that I've never been to both. Wanna know something weird? I've never been to Jack in the Box, kinda makes you think I live in a cave huh? Alright, my fire is dying so I better stop writing before it gets pitch black...

They have Arby's at those truck stops where there's like ten 100ft signs for fast food restaurants on the way to Tahoe.

no, the burger is like around $4, they just call it the $6 burger to make fun of those restaurants that actually do charge $6 for them.

I'm in Richmond, VA right now and I recognized the 'happy star' logo of Carl's Jr. only to find that it is not Carl's but Hardee's. Weird.

The "$6 burger" is a fair deal. It is a real hamburger, not a fast food burger. They put too much Mayo on it though. I order it without the mayo and add mustard. It is worth the price.
They use good meat in the burger and everything else they put in it is quality stuff.
I like Wendy's food, it's great. But I think the CJ's $6 burger is a step and a half up from a good Wendy's burger. Don't start knocking them 'till you try 'em.

my only complaint about wendy's is the fries. dry, mealy, freezer-burnt. blech. everything else is good quality.

For six bucks, there betta be some dayuum STEAK up in that sammich.

So if we don't give you those Wendy's goods...you become a butt-pirate? Damn it man, get this dude some burgers! The 6 dollar burger is only 3.99 or so actually. They're just comparing it to a burger at a regular diner.

Anyplace that gives out 5 sandwiches for 5 bucks scares me. I'll never touch Arby's.

The "full feeling" in my belly after eating at Wendy's and the residual change in my pocket after only spending about $3.50 say otherwise...

To each his own... go enjoy your $4 burger (I'll just go to the grocery store for a pound of "ground round" for under a $1.50 and fire up my gas grill in my backyard and make my own for that kind of money. Just my personal preference... I'm entitled.)

BTW, they have "Steak and Shake" here and by the time you order a "triple" (which costs about $4 as well) add fries and a beverage, you are out of $7 or more... I won't pay that either, even though I think their burgers are REALLY good. I guess when you have a "family" to feed, you don't tend to spend that kind of money on just "burgers and fries". However, I'm just glad that some of you out there can splurge like that.

df, chill man...
you're talkin about eating out to begin with. this is kind of a splurge by nature. i can appreciate that you don't wanna spend $4 on a burger...no prob. but if you're spending $3.50....just spread 50 cents and live it up man! you work to hard to neglect yourself

and sure, you can get burgers for a buck, too. you can also find all kinds of deals at your local 99 cent store..... :D

anyways...if you want good fries, you gotta try in-n-out. of course that's another west coast dilly, so you gotta wait for the invasion live everyone else :P

i used to live in florida.....no offense, but i prefer our beaches (we have waves at ours, and your sand is too hard). and now that you bring up florida, i doubt that $2.75 burger is better! :D
