I guess I'd have to say that having the flu to the point of being knocked out for days with a fever really makes me appreciate the days I am not feeling bad. Winter is coming. I hate headcolds, not being able to breath through my nose really freaks me out.

if i have a really bad cold/flu, i just say **** it, and knock myself out with the good ole nyquil works wonders. since i hardly get sick, and if i do it's pretty bad. nyquil's the only thing i use.
i do get occasional sore throats and stuff, for that is halls vitamin C cough drops (they're awesome!!!) and oj. good stuff, works wonders.

I started using Colloidal Siver about two years ago. I use the spray version for the nostrils and the mouth spray. Whenever I get a sore throat or a sinus infection, it takes care of the problem immediately.
I was sceptical, but it works, and there are no side effects.
This stuff was used before antibiotics were invented, and it appears that the drug industry prefers that the general public remain in the dark about it's existence.
There are a lot of web sites to verify it's claims.

I never even heard of it before. My grandfather used to make a nasty concoction of mustard, garlic, vinegar, and honey and eat it by the spoonful when he was sick. I swear it's because they didn't have money to buy medication, but he said that when he was still a little boy in Naples thats what his momma gave him when he was sick and it used to cure him in an instant. I think personally I'd rather have the flu.

Before going overboard with colloidal silver, you might want to take a look at http://homepages.together.net/~rjstan/ . I realize that ingesting it is not the same as a nasal spray. Just be careful with this stuff.

i gotta agree with nyquil...love that stuff
dry heaves are the worst...drink a gallon of water...that way they be wet heaves.
i don't know why...and if any of you have this same craving, please help me dispell the freak label i've put on myself by admitting it...but i eat a crazy amount of sweets when i'm sick. candy, popsicles, ice cream, snackie pies...to the point where i get nauseous...no win situation eh?
this happen to anyone else?

i can understand candies and popsicles. they tend to increase salivation which also helps...especially if you have sore throats and stuff.

good call...but man, the last time i was sick, i ate so many little debbie swiss rolls that i threw up this black grainy mass of preservative laden snackie cake and cream...
or maybe i'm just a glutton and i use being sick as an excuse to binge...yeah that could be it
