View Full Version : TANNING tips...It's about time...

I've finally determined to shed the Asian Albino image and go for a golden roast. Any tips on how to get myself nice and well-done? Someone told me it looks better when you use a higher SPF(15 or so) and tan a little at a time rather than using the Tanning oils (SPF 4). Is that true? I've even thought about going to tanning salons to save time but then somebody told me the tan won't look "natural." Could I alternate between the salon and the beach to get a faster tan that doesn't look too fake? Please share your experiences and tips...

please use a bronzer or self tanner... you don't wanna be all wrinkly and age spotted at 35...

Personally i think you should just go spend some time in the sun.
If you just spend like a whole day at the beach every now and then... even using sunblock... you should get a tan. I was using spf 70 sunblock the other week and still got a pretty nice tan from just being in the sun.
Hehe maybe you could try that sunless tanning lotion... does that stuff actually give you a tan?:P

oh yeah i just remembered... they got pills you can take to get a tan.
I have no clue how they work but im assuming that it has something to do with stimulating the release of melanin. I dont know how well it works though

Start a bonfire and stand real close to it for a couple of hours. Just like a puffy marshmellow you'll get a nice gloden-brown tan. But make sure you don't catch on fire and melt into a bubbly black mess...that's the bad part of roasting 'mellows.

It merely started out as a feeble attempt to gain a few TANNING tips... However, slowly, yet ominously, it transformed into a spiteful and malicious rally to see him being burned on the dark sands of the pacific ocean.... :bawl:
