heh... mostly valid points, some overblown. 8-24 oz of skim milk per day is really healthful for most caucasians, tho.

I've tasted soy milk and I find it kindasnasty. I have lots of friends who love it though. Nothing will ever stop me from drinking real cow milk tough. Mmmmm...milk.

soy milk smells like dogfood... ricemilk is yummy, tho (and of course far less nutritious, but oh well...)

yuck, milk... I hate the stuff. Sure it does a body good, but isn't it more convenient to just swallow some vitamins? When I was small my parents would always force me to drink milk, then when they're away from the kitchen I would dump the whole thing in the sink. I swear, I probably drank 1 glass of milk that they gave me everyday for months, poor cows they coulda used the milk i wasted for good purposes, like pouring them on mushrooms or something.

anyways, let me tell you something about the birds and the bees...

When I was small I drank 5 gallons (no, not a typo) a week. My mom would buy 5 gallons every saturday and they'd be gone by the next Friday. THe only other person who had milk was my mom cuz she puts a little in her coffee. That majority of the yummy moo-juice went to me. Now I drink at least 3-4 glasses a day. Yum.

I'm basically a 22 year-old child.

Argh even organic milk doesn't sound too good now.
Soy milk isn't all that bad. Mix it with some fruit (esp strawberries) and make a soy smoothie. Those are good.
Vanilla soy milk is good too, but not as good for you.

the last two half-galons i bought lasted over a month each, unopened. I keep throwing away unopened milk bottles... :(

Reminds me of a book my wife and I looked at when our first child was having problems with lactose intolerance. It was named "Don't Drink Your Milk". :)

I got some vanilla rice milk a couple days ago. Good stuff, not bad at all. I am going to have it with some rice pudding :D
