I love to sing. I think if it weren't for music I would be a very depressed person. Sometimes I think I am good, other times I don't. Who here can carry a tune? And what do you like to sing?
Me--anything by Christina, Mariah Whitney or Celine.

I am a Karaoke addict. I go two or three times a week.
I sing George Michael, Michael Jackson, Smokey Robinson, Billy Joel, Neil Diamond, Savage Garden, Prince, the Stylistics, the Delphonics, Johnnyy Mathis,Four Tops,Lonestar, BoyzIIMen, the Temptations and many others. I get lots of compliments.
Have you tried Karaoke in your area? If you try it, you will get hooked. I guarantee it.
By the way, Mariah Carey is my favorite female vocalist. Very few people can duplicate her voice.

There isn't karaoke down here :bawl: but I think when I go back to San Diego I could find a place, get a little alcohol in me (not too much just enough to loosen me up a bit haha) and give it a try. I agree about Mariah, she has always been one of my favs...although I don't think she is quite as good as she was when she was younger.
I do however d/l karaoke and instrumentals on audiogalaxy. If you want to try karaoke online, paltalk has a chatroom and one of them is people singing haha. Just a warning though, a lot of times you have to use the mute button on your monitor's volume bar :heh:

I like to sing, and believe it or not, am pretty damn good. I've been in shows (professional, not school or community theater). Been in Fiddler on the Roof, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Cinderella, Bye Bye Birdie, Peter Pan, Big River, Sound of Music and a few others. It's fun.

I'm kind of the same way. Have been singing since 1st grade. Been in choirs and plays my entire life, etc. My senior year, I was in the Oklahoma Baptist All-State Choir and went to England to sing. I LOVE singing and sing solos all the time in church and stuff. I'm pretty good, if I do say so myself. ;)

I sing in the shower.

I've got a great range and ok mechanics, but lose control in the upper registers (like most guys). But when the time is appropriate (I'm alone or at Karaoke) I can belt it out pretty good.

I like to sing in the car, w/ the wondows down and teh sunroof open, radio-a-blarin' (it covers up my mistakes)

I'll sing-along w/ juts about anything, Oldies, hard rock, the "rollin' rollin' rollin' song" (i can sooo imitate that bad-a$$ voice too), 80's stuff, and i love singing to War Pigs. I can even imitate Elvis a little - my grandma gets a kick out of it when i do elvis...

In church, i do thei REALLY loooow voice, sounds like I'm 60yrs old, and a bass singer or something. I occasionaly try to harmonize, but i get way off sometimes.

But yeah, i do ok i guess, if its a song i know. I really love singing to Oldies when detailing the car or bike, or mechanicing on it, and then to 80's while crusin' down the highway...

Low, Ride-Er, drives a little slower... BA-Ba Ba-Ba Ba-De-Da Ba-Da-DE DA-Da. :D

ohhhhhhhhhhhh yeah, almost forgot:

Bang on my drum all day (only on fridays drivin' home from work!)
I feel good! (hehehehehehehe, i Looove doing that part of the song, cause i can do the voice on there pretty good).

Singing rocks. Koreans are also into it too. Karaoke places are called no-reh-bahng. In any major city that has Koreans, you should be able to find one. Since you're in MD, you could go to Annandale, VA. They have several there.

I love singing too and playing the piano. Actually, I have even written my own song based on a novel ("A Seperate Peace" by John Knowles, for those who may have heard of it).

I used to be part of a choir and dance group as well.
