Dumb young bastard took my phone!!!

I messaged my phone using my brother's phone. He replies saying he wants 100 bucks. Then says he's not stupid. Then when I ask for just the SIM card he says "blow me". ****ing cocksucker. He better be having a good night sleep cause his ass would've been to within a inch of his life. Then the ****er replies "**** you gook". What a ****ing idiot.

Dumb bitch.

  :woo: :johnwoo2: :yell:

they can triangulate the cell phone location if you can get someone to work w/ you on it... might take some pleading, but you might get it done.. and when you find the location :naughty:

Cut service to the phone.
slash tires.
stuff potato in the exhaust.
cut one of teh water hoses on his car from underneath, but only enough to make it leak under pressure.
drip superglue all the way around his car door-jams

let him keep the phone :)

and dont leave finger prints on anything.

call him on the phone (dont cut it off yet) and tell him to watch his back, and that your from afghanistan ;)

chill out. your not the only one who's ever been the victim of a crime.

you would do serious harm to someone over what? $200 or less?

and not to say that the thief was correct or anything, but like, did he break into your car/apartment/bag to steal the phone? or did u leave it out in the open, just asking to be stolen?

Just so you know when I started this thread I was in a very very bad mood. I had been waiting for this idiot appear for two hours starting 12 AM in the cold. Now I knew that he wouldn't show, but I didn't want to regret having missed a chance at getting the bum. What peaves me off is the fact that people have no qualms about picking up a phone that someone has dropped and deciding not to return it. I don't know exactly how my phone was taken but I do know that if you see a phone in an arcade with a lost and found you turn it in so the rightful owner can claim it.

Everyone knows that once a phone is reported stolen, it's basically useless, but he decides he's going to get some kicks trying to piss me off.

Reasons why I was pissed:

1. Taunts me for no good reason.
2. Shows up to where I was waiting for him with money, then chickens out because he's gutless.
3. Started messaging stupid crap and leaving voice messages about how he's gonna kill everyone I know. WTF is that?! I'd like to see him try.
4. He has my sim card with all my numbers that I only kept on the phone, he has my phone card numbers, he wouldn't even drop the SIM card at a place and time he chose so that he could just leave it there without me knowing who it was.
5. Because I am ALWAYS ANGRY.

Anyways, I don't care what happens, I got a new SIM, I have to find another phone, I have to get all numbers again, and tediously enter them all in. I've decided I won't give the ******* the pleasure of ruining my day, nor the satisfaction of reponding to his outlandish ****.

there should be an all of the above. If you steal a cell phone, you're a prick. Pagers are one thing, but a cell is a bit more.

why are you always angry?

and, people are evil, it makes you worse to want to hurt them more then they hurt you.

also, i know all about lost/stolen cell phones. it sucks. and, i'm not sure if this works, but i know i can update the software by calling a # w/ my phone. so do u think its possible for your cell carrier to delete all the info remotely? cause that why the scoundrel doesn't have access to your info.

I have "issues" :)

Anyways, I went into the Cingular store and the girl/lady at the counter said that all they could do was stop service to that phone and SIM. I myself was thinking that was the dumbest load of crap I've heard in a while. Howcome if they can program a SIM chip to burn itself out after a certain amount of incorrect PIN inputs, why the hell can't they burn out the SIM chip on a stolen phone?

Pardon me, but what kind of pacifist crap is this?

This guy is trying to demand a reward (i.e., extort money) from this poor fellow who happened to drop or lose or otherwise lose possession of his phone. Now this little pissant is trying to taunt him and demand money?

Now, maybe it's my unsavory gangland upbringing, but that kind of thing is a) a show of disrespect and b) behavior begging of severe retribution. I like the epoxying of his door jambs. I'm kind of partial to the windshield wiper glue, or just a crowbar to the radiator. If he'd done something more dangerous, removing all the lugnuts would have been a nice move. :D

Retribution is what keeps this world in check. The threat of mutually assured destruction, let us not forget, ended the cold war. People have forgotten that it can exist on a personal level.

If you prefer to let people roll you, that's fine, but don't admonish a young man who just had a very important accessory in one's life jacked!

I feel your pain speedy. Some guy had my phone and keys, and was calling my friends to try to find out where I lived. Well now you know to backup your numbers using some sort of PIM like outlook and to get insurance if you didn't have it before.

Whoo..that's why I'm happy I'm using Verizon. No sim card to worry about when all hell breaks loose. Also, that's why you get insurance and warranty packages. I know CDMA allows total "banning" of a stolen phone. which means, you can never reactivate the phone.

I think what the cingular person said about the SIM chip issue is true. But, I think that card can be locked remotely too, as long as the phone is on...but then again it can be network dependent..

whats a SIM card?

speedracer120

It's a little removable chip that holds a unique ID that the network uses to track your account by, you can use the SIM chip in all the phones on say the Cingular network. It can also be used to save your phone book onto. Bah, thinking about the bastard get's me worked up again.

Oh yeah, the idiot sent me a stupid voicemail saying "I am Osama bin Laden, I have your phone you fat f*ck." What an intelligent and well adjusted guy. Just wait till I get my hands on him. When that happens my rights will be taken away, but rights will be taken away but only for a few years, I know some good criminal defense attorneys, they may even work pro bono. :D

All I have to say is that if I'm absent for a long, long period of time, that one of the GAMs or Leon remove this thread. The prosecutors case will be all the more weaker because of it.

Already asked, and got a negative response.

As for a cheaper phone. I wish. The prices are outlandish unless you:

A)Have a upgrade certificate or
B)Activate a new account.

Otherwise for a 3390, the cheapeset I've been quoted is ~150 for 3390, the 3395 is yet to be released, 8890 and Siemens S40 prices are not for the faint of heart or empty wallets.

I always waste the money on the insurance. If someone steals my phone I will have it deactivated and get a new one for free. They'll probably charge me $20 to activate the new phone though.
Reminds me that I need to record all my new numbers on my comuter in case this one gets lost.

If someone did that to me and I could find them, I would see how many times I could put nails into him with a nail gun.

speed, was it just that B&M store you went to that said they wouldn't burn the SIM? I would call a national number, see what response you get if you didn't.

Just a shot

Both B&M and via the national customer support system.
