not enough! 800mg is when it becomes a muscle relaxant.
Speaking of kendo, i just found out one of my friends dads is working on his 7th degree in japan.

Screw kendo, DDR=Sore muscles... damn.. I haven't played that thing in months and now after a couple hours my legs feel like they're made out of mercury and they hurt like hell everytime I walk.

Pills and alcohol may work for temporary muscle pain releif, but if you want to cure them fast, stretch a lot. Stretch many times a day. And next time stretch enough right before and after your Kendo workout. And get plenty of rest.

and don't forget massage; it works even better... gotta knead out all the little pockets of lactic acid.

Don't ignore Aleve (or its generic counterparts). Start with a double dose. For me it doesn't kick in as fast as some of the others (Ibuprofen), but it brings about much more long-term results (especially for back pain).

just quit working out...i find the best way to fix sore muscles is to not use them. my steady regimen of sitting on the couch, playing playstation2 and drinking bud light has provided me with an achefree painless life.

I did stretch before and after kendo. ...I even stretched an extra long time right after practice.
Anyways, my muscles are stiff and still sore this morning....ugh..
