went out on sat night to see this movie....fun movie :)
went out as a group, and all the guys actually liked it!!!
I'm a fan of romantic comedies anyways, so I was an obvious shoe in, but the other guys, more 'macho' guys, liked it too :)
It's basically about a guy and a girl meeting randomly at a bloomingdales. They hit it off immediately and well, things are looking good, except the girl is somewhat of a weirdo in that she believes in fate and that she doesn't want to give him her number. Instead she wants fate to decide whether they'll be together again or not.
Cusak is great, and he's someone that I think guys can relate to, and root for in a movie :)
As for the girl (forget her name), she's very charming, and someone u really want cusak to be with.
I'll give it 4.5 stars out of 5 (that .5 off because it seemed too much like a Korean drama, for any Koreans who are at least familiar with the type of soap operas that are out there, you'll see what i mean)

Yes John Cusack is great as usual. His characters always shine with the perfect blend of Cary-Grantesque charm, Tom Hankish guy-next-door comfort, and Tom-Cruisian human vulnerability and imperfection. However, it was definitely a "MOVIE" I must say. If you go in expecting a realistic story about a serendipitous affair that could happen to you one day, you'll come out laughing at how completely setup this act is. The two characters constantly miss each other by a hair, "happening to" run into little clues about each others emotions, "happening to" gain all the wrong misunderstandings at all the wrong times, and then "happening to" fortunately realize the truth at all the perfect moments. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that's bad at all. I'm just saying to go in expecting a fun, playful story full of heart-teasing chances and fate. Just be prepared to laugh. It's a romantic COMEDY.

Man, do I know what that feels like. But most of the time, I do it on purpose. I actually enjoy spending some time on my own just chilling and watching a movie once in a while. But man, I'd never go and watch a new release by myself like that, with all the crowds and stuff... Boy, it must have been COLD in there!!~

no way man, I'm soo used to it... ordering the ticket is actually the hardest par, cause the ticket seller person knows your a looser, but other than that i'm fine.
i can pick the best seat in the house by myself, chill, relax, not worry about strong language, voilence, or nudity offending the gal-friend thats not there next to me.
the theater i go to isn't ever completely crowded... it used to be REALLY popular (its in a mall) but the city has slowly moved away from that area and theres lots less ppl there than there used to be.
all the rich preppy folk go to the theatre up in teh little suburb to the north. You see the 14 and 15yr/old girls dressed like they're 22 trying to get taken home for the night. they all look basically the same, and the guys do to... its soo funny. When me and Heather do go up there, were like in normal jeans and t-shirts, just every-day clothes chillin.

hey dude. We should go watch a movie together sometime. Of course we'd be sitting separately in opposite corners of the theater but I think we'd both enjoy it.
