Digital Camera

I was wondering if anyone could recommend an all around great digital camera for the price? I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions who have had some experience with them or what not. Maybe what to look for, or great brands/models? I appreciate all suggestions and time it takes to reply. Thanks a lot!

You can get the Canon Powershot A50 Zoom for around 250 at Buy.com or other online stores, combine that with discounts and you've got a good price for an amazing camera. I bought mine 6 months ago and i ADORE it, it's amazing and easy to use and takes fantastic pictures. And did i mention its small enough to fit comfortably in my pants/jacket pocket so i can bring it with me wherever i go? I take SOOO many pics its nuts. Only comes with a 8meg card though, so you'll need to buy more.

I just bought Kodak DC 280 and it is one great digicam.
I bought it for $413 at mercata.com with $100 registration credit.
They even gave me the camera back and this camera has recharger also.
