mmmkay, lets see...

spot krispy kream sign: 1min (since they prolly knew the city well)
circle KK: 1min
Land: 30secs
run in, get donughts: 2min (choper idle)
takeoff and get back to work: 30secs

time: 5min break

OR, the alternative.

fly around city, back to heli-pad: up to 3min.
land: 30secs
shutdown heli: ??
log heli back in: ??
go find car: 5min.
drive to KK: 10min
drive back 10min
Eat dounghts on ground: 20min
talk w/ other officers: 10min
get back in heli, etc... back in the air: 20min.

total: 80+min's.

so, whats cheaper? stopping for 5min for donughts, or 80min for donughts?

whats safer? leaving the city for 5min, or 80min?

Hey - it was 1am, they were cruising the skies of Albuquerque, and they got the munchies. The Krispy Kreme was open, so who can blame them for running in for a dozen glazed?

I know what it's like to have the munchies at 1am, and there's not much else you can do until you take care of that.
