i live in a four unit condo complex...and one of the two main sewar lines got plugged...

All this stuff came out of our downstairs toilet...when i got home from work, it was almost as if it were raining in our parking garage!

Anyways...i mopped up several gallons of disgusting dirty sewar water...and then the carpet people game and sucked up an additional 22 Gallons of water!

The next day, we found out that the water damage was more extensive than we first thought...they ripped out all of our hard wood floor in our kitchen, bathroom, and foyet, and began to tear out all the carpet and padding...our condo is a nightmare! They brought in 7 huge fans and a de-humidifier...

insurance guy came today...which was a relief...he said they'd take care of everything...its just going to be a major pain for a couple weeks...

Getting that no-so-fresh feeling there Thunder?
On a more serious note, that freakign sucks dude. It must smell like crap. Literally. We had our sink back up on all our sinks downstairs. Sewage came back up and smelled for days. :puke:

wow! Hope everything comes out okay.

one thing I have learned, if anything is on your couch and such, don't let them clean it. It would be better replaced. The smell will come back no matter what they say.

Happened to me several times when I rented an apartment in Texas. I told them to get me a new unit and they did. It really sucks.
