Ok, I'm not gonna name names but a certain someone I know thats getting maried this weekend didnt send me an invitation. Yes I told him I wouldn't be able to make it due to school and work, but it would have been nice to have been invited. :(

Hello? Weddings cost ALOT of money! as do invitations....most times couples have limited guest lists, and the bride gets first crack at the invitations since it's usually her family who pays for the bulk of the wedding. By the time you include siblings, parents, grandparents, and close family friends you start running into a whole lot of cash. I don't understand what your bugged about-why should they spend 4 or 5 bucks to purchase "extra" invitations to send out if they know people they invite aren't going to attend. Unless you planned on framing it or someting..gawd geta grip already,if you are that good of a friend, you shouldn't care one way or another about a piece of paper. People plan weddings on a limited budget, not how many people they can invite who will decline...wrap that gift and send it out with good wishes or stop whining.

Good lord, woman! Have you ever NOT overreacted to something? JPR is cheffy's friend, so I have a feeling he was joking in his post. You've been doing this a lot lately...

Whatever..I don't care if they are friends or not. Weddings are costly. If he is so concerned about getting that invitation he better cough up a good gift. REGARDLESS if he goes or not. I'll keep it in mind to check with the "OVER REACTION" police before I reply to obviously RIDICULOUS posts. Get real. I could be really rotten and quote a few of YOUR overreactions to posts, but Nah, I gotta leave for work. Thanks for your concern though.

you make it sound as if we're oblivious to the costs of weddings. geez lady, just relax. like i said, we'll just crash the joint.

as for my wedding...i'm sending invitations out by email, posting it on every forum, and i just my as well go onto irc and do the same. either way i'll get a nice mixture of people. and if my friends don't have a computer.....oh well.

Simple rule of thumb. No invite, No gift.

Sheesh people it was just a freakin joke intended for one specific person. I've been giving him a hard time about since day one just to be pain in the arse. Tim and I are good ole buddies who get a kick out of being a pain in the ass towards each other. Yes I know weddings are expensive ,involve a great deal planning and time and I would never expect someone to inconvenience themself just for me. Now as far as this being an "obviously ridiculous post" ,and until the GAM says something about it, get off my damm back! Now look you went and made me mad. :(
