So now it's cold, I don't want to go out early (6am) for my usual 3 mile walk. But I'm still on my 5am rising schedule. I don't go into work till noon so that leaves me a whole lotta hours to do nothing. I do laundry and cleaning at night so that I can wake up to a spotless house. I'm sick of watching infomericals(cable sucks anymore) so have kicked back into my usual round of coldweather baking. This morning by 8am, my family had banana bread, cinnamon rolls and pumpkin muffins. Now It's only 9:35 and I have nothing to do again.

i know the feeling. going to the park is no fun when it's wet and chilly, so i signed my kid up for a park district indoor playgroup, but it doesn't start until 9:30 am, so until then it's blue's clues and teletubbies... :puke:

This cold is just so much WORSE when there is NO snow. At least if there was snow I wouldn't be so achy in the joints. My shoulders felt like someone was yanking out of their sockets. Gawd, it's a bitch to be old.

I wish I was in your family so I could have banana bread, cinnamon rolls, and pumpkin muffins all in the same day :D
Being old is a bitch, being young is a bitch, and being a bitch is a bitch. You just trade one bitch for another...sorry, I just feel like saying that word today...

once I turn the oven on I just bake and bake until I run out of ingredients that are crying to be used up. I actually made pizza dough too, but that is in the fridge till later-then I can punch it down and let it rise a few times before I freeze it. (after work and vacumming of course)

geez obby, compared to me, you're the most productive person in the world!
i like baking...the stuff usually turns out pretty good. to bad i don't like cleaning...that's what usually stops me from coooking or baking.

If I had 7 hours between when I got up and when I had to get to work, an awful lot of on-line gaming would likely take place...

Wow if I could get up that early I would get a lot more studying done. I don't go into work until noon either, sometimes not until 4...I should try that.
