i was talking to my friend about cartoons, and the subject of the jetsons came up. we we're talking about how it was like 2001 and we we're supposed to be like the jetsons already...hahaha

but they had some cool stuff that i really want/need.

car thingys that fly and you can pack them in a suit case
high rise apartments
robotic maids

there's other stuff i know it...but a lot of stuff perplexed me, if there were hover cars....why would there be traffic? i need one of those hover cars sooo bad right now.

oh yea, and my friend was like, "ever wonder why those buildings were in the sky?" and i'm like no,

well, apparently it's cause there was like kinda world war III or something and everybody had to move into the sky. in one episode they supposedly showed the ground, and it was f*ed up. can anybody confirm?

Ewww, Jetsons...gross...I hate that cartoon. I liked flintstones better.

Ah yes, the old Hanna-Barbera cartoon series. I think the Flintstones was far superior in the "character development" aspect as compared to the Jetsons.

A few other of their series and "famous" characters that might ring a bell to the "old timers":

Tom and Jerry
Huckleberry Hound
Yogi Bear
Quick Draw McGraw
Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy
Snagglepuss
Magilla Gorilla
Top Cat
Ruff and Reddy
Jonny Quest

well if they could fly all over the place, then wouldnt all the cars crash into each other, if there aro no lanes and such?

Now that you mention it, I can picture an overhead shot, showing the clouds parting, and a cartoony view of a gray junky wasteland below, but it's probably one of those induced memories. :hmm: You brainwasher, you.

Actually I know what you're talking about!!!
What I remember watching was commercials with George talking. He was saying how i bet we're all wonderin why we're livin up this high. Well, we were stupid, and we poluted the earth. They pan down, and it's all grey, and smoggy...
then he's talkin about how we should stop poluting, so that we don't have to live up this high like this.
