I just noticed: the FBI lists bin Laden's first name as Usama, while everything else I've seen has said Osama. No wonder we're having trouble finding him! :D

I think the problem is that they use a different alphabet and are fast and loose with the vowels. It's always a guess when translating a name.

Perhaps another part of the problem is that these guys all likely use multiple aliases, birthdates, passports, etc., and generally aren't just sitting around saying "Here I am! Catch me!"

Well, you have to be Evil. But anyone can be Evil if they give up good. It's not easy mind you. You have to give up many preconceptions and biases. For example: a good person believes that you must be a member of his/her religious group to be good. An Evil person know that a person's specific religion has nothing to do with their character.
There but are advantages to being Evil! You have much more free time, you don't have all those other impositions on your time like; persicution of others, cross burnings, mob hangings, crusades, brain washing, and degrading others of different belief systems.

Through pakistan, they went in with hidden cameras into an "foreign courency exchange" and just hinted that they need to transfer money to USA, they transfered 50 bucks to boston. They said who they want to transfer the money to. All they got back was an address and password, the person picked up the money within the hour. No paper work no nothing. Small fee on the sending end... that is all.... throughout 2 weeks hundreds of thousands of dollars were transfered in this way through pakistan.
