Ive tried going to radio shack and they only carry 500-900 MHZ splitters. Any ideas?

Monster Cable's base splitter is 1 Ghz at around $10 for the 2-way. The high performance version is 2 Ghz at $19.99. They have 3-way, 4-way and even larger capacity versions as well.

Best Buy tends to have a pretty good selection too (usually at least 2-3 brands, Monster being one of them)... and I've had better luck with Monster 1ghz splitters than the Best Buy generic-ish 2ghz splitters (I'm running a TV/VCR off my cable modem http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif

If you're not close to a Best Buy, etc, go to Monsters's site and they have a link to web retailers. http://www.monstercable.com/net/html/online_dealers.html

I have seen this question raised before and I have a friend who thought they needed a 1gig splitter... you don't. get a decent normal one and it will do the trick.. they are too cheaply made to filter out the 1gig.
