It's a security number you can use to lock the phone.

No it's a number that is entered whe you access their voice mail system, for some retarded reason worldcom keeps it on the phone... that's what the rep told my dad

I'm pretty sure the PIN that you use when checking the voicemail has nothing to do with the physical phone itself. I think you should call up the customer service of your wireless service provider and ask them. They'll probably ask you some questions to identify you and then you can tell them what you want your pin to be. That's my best guess. Sorry.

last time i called them i waited for 3 and half hour for a person.... it sucks so bad

actually i would have to agree with grimm. there is no reason that you should wait on the telephone for 3.5 hours to talk to a customer service rep. tell them you don't like their service and find another one. or in the short term: get another provider.
