166mHz, Pentium 2gig with not very much ram? That includes the monitor, mouse, keyboard. It's not for gaming,or alot of downloading, just for a 72 year old woman to learn how to use a computer.(NO NOT ME-I won't be 72 for another 3 months..lol)and for her to send emails and easy stuff like that..I told her it's not a 'bad' deal if she can afford it. What do you think?

she is getting it from her son-in-law's work. (you know one of those NOTORIOUSLY rotten companies that is known for making CHEAP furniture and sell it at extremely high rates and then as soon as the crap falls apart they say-oh well, you bought it on sale so we can't help you out.).....If it was up to me I think her son-in-law should pay for it since he is the one who asked her if she would like it.

i've sold crappier computers than that for $100... but jeez, old lady, fixed income... what kinda nutbutt wouldn't just buy it for her?

It's a fair price if everything works. But I personaly wouldn't buy it. I would cobble a better system up out of loose parts and give it to her. But most people don't have enough parts laying around for a whole computer...

I agree, tell her to buy it
