lame/funny ways to flip the bird

i know three:

*point middle finger directly downward*
"can you hear this?"
(answer is assumed to be "no" or "what?")
"do you want me to turn it up?"
*flip finger upwards*

*jab middle finger into the air in a normal vertical fashion*
*follow immediately with jabbing it in a horizontal fashion*
"up yours and the horse you rode in on!"

*hold fist up, without the finger protruding yet*
*use other hand to make a tight circling motion next to the first hand, as though winding up a chain*
*slowly and smoothly elevate the finger, as though it is being drawn up like a drawbridge*

if anyone else knows other really lame cheesy ways to flip the bird, please share. i always need new ways to elicit groans and eye-rolling from my friends. :D

Hold your fist to your mouth, and start blowing on it, and elevate the finger as if blowing up a balloon.

this isnt exactly flippin the bird....but i saw it on friends

take your fists and hold them like your boxing oldschool (palms facing inward), but adjacent...then strike the heels of your hands together twice, while still making fists. it also helps to have a faux serious ross geller look on your face, as if the recipient has no idea that they are being insulted.

for you non-friends fans (whatever....like you're gonna get it anyways), this was something ross came up with as a kid so that he and his sister could flip people off without them knowing they were getting flipped off. it was also the time that monica figured out that she was cooler than her brother :heh:
incidentally, everyone thought it was dorky, but then ended up using the technique during the show at some point

Me and my friends have made a lot of them....we were REALLY bored. :)

1. Rock, Paper, Scissors - Put your hand into a fist and make like you are playing "rock, paper, scissors and on the third one your middle finger pops up.

2. Jack-in-a-box - ball up your hand into a fist and make a turning motion on the side while humming pop goes the weasel when you get to pop goes it weasel, up comes the middle finger.

3. The Flock - you move your whole hand from one side to another and wave your fingers in front of the person's face and ask, "What was that?". When the person says, "What?". You say, "A whole flock of these" (And you put your middle finger up)

4. booger flip - You pretend you're pulling your middle finger out of your nose.

And there are some others that I have forgotten...ah well....I shouldn't be flipping people off anyways....:D

after you've already flipped the person off, wait a while and the take your right hand wrap it around the back of your head and hold it to the left side of your head and say, "OMG!! Look!! It's BACK!!!"

ok that was bad...how about this?

put you hand in you pocket as if you were looking for something, and say "wait, I had something for you." Then after a while of searching, pull out the middle finger and hand it to them. "Oh! here it is!"

ok not much better...last attempt. I promise.

just pick your nose, but use your middle finger. Pull a buggar out, look at it and say "woah! nice!!" and then holding your middle finger out to the person's face say, "check it out!!" : A nice subtle was to get away with it.

in some places overseas these are considered insults:

take your middle and index finger of your right hand and place it near the middle of your right eyebrow. quickly motion in a sweeping manner toward your temple with your fingers, no longer maintaining contact with your brow and keeping your wrist somewhat in place (like a swivel action). this is like flipping the bird

also i heard from a "persian" that if you give the thumbs up, you need to be careful to have the back of your hand towards the person you are doing it to. if you show that person the pad of your thumb, or that part is facing that person, you are either saying something about their virility or calling that person a penis (i forget which)

yeah... thumbs up is pretty much the middle finger in persian.
