In it's origins, the idea of "stay low, keep moving" comes from warfare - you are less likely to be a target, or at least a successful target for the one targetting you. But in other terms, it just means to accomplish something without drawing attention to yourself. So when BrewMaster said "you've been posting like a mad fool too g222leav", my jestful reply was like saying "keep a low profile".

I should mention that I first saw someone use "stay low...keep moving..." during my days at Digital Equipment, where you could put a "personal name" into the email headers. Some people just entered their names (because user accounts were sometimes cryptic), but I saw someone use that phrase. It was during a time of drastic company downsizing, and it kind of took on a humorous meaning (avoiding being the target of a layoff). It has sorta stuck with me since then, so I threw it into my sig.

well, not that i want to be noticed...but the stuff i post kinda draws attention...and then i had that one weekend of a non-stop postage-fest....i think that's why they noticed. otherwise i'm just another speck on the wall

So, did anybody from the Chicago area Get|AMD this morning? I wasn't about to try to be at the brickyard at 6:00am myself.
