mortar is what goes between the bricks, it keeps the bricks together.

i thought mortars were also those fireworks that came with a tube and shot off like a cannon. i got like 5 boxes of those one year, lit fireworks till 4 in the morn. i like set off car alarms.

when i first heard mortar, i was thinkin millitary guns, cannons......
