I just received all the components today and when I finished the installation, turn on the power. My computer crashed at the screen where it displays what kind of CPU I'm using and where you I could enter BIOS by "delete".

So far only motherboard, CPU, memory and video card are connected and the funny part is everytime I boot up, it displays different stuff. Sometimes I have arrors all over my screen, sometimes I have bunch of square. What is WRONG? I have not seen anything like this before.

EPOX 8KHA+
AMD Athlon XP 1600
Crucial PC2100 256 DDR
Creative Lab GeForce2 GTS

The customer rep. told me that I have to use 400 watt Antec Power Supply as it's what AMD recommended.

400 watt for Athlon XP?

umm I think 350 is fine for an XP 1600, and just in case you don't know, it doesn't have to be an "Antec"...

Enermax power supplies have been problematic with a past Epox motherboard. http://www.gotapex.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=206629&highlight=enermax#post206629
Anyways I'm using an Antec 400 watt here.

I did dig up this thread at rage3d about Radeon8500's having problems with this motherboard. http://www.rage3d.com/board/showthread.php?threadid=33586048
