hi all. looking for some people with some experience using some of the remote access software out there. anyone have any particular favorites or ones that they've seen or used that REALLY works?
any experiences shared would be appreciated. thx! =)

oh btw,... this is for a couple of clients who are a bit far for me to drive and just for me to check on their system before i head out to visit them. =)

Symantec PCAnywhere works good for me. Just make sure you use encryption & a good password - people scan all the time for open PCAnywhere computers.

I think PCanywhere sucks. I use VNC for Win98 machines. If they have 2k server or XP pro/server , use Terminal Services to get in. These solutions are especially good if you have to traverse one or more firewalls. VNC is free and terminal services is built into the aforementioned operating systems.
