Our office just relocated, and the new place has quite a few perks. It's five minutes closer to home, my cube is bigger, and there's a full-service BofA, post office, and Togo's in the lobby. Pretty darned great, right?

My old cube was in a quiet little corner, where I could publish web pages at peace. Here, I'm smack dab in the middle of Human Resources. HR ladies to my left, to my right, and the hallway next to my cube seems to be the HR Expressway. They gab all day about celebrity weddings, affairs, miscarriages, etc. One just snatched the other's purse and ran off with it.

The kicker? I'm younger than all of them.

heh. That's just it. I'm NOT in HR, I'm in web design (and for all you purists, I use the term "design" very loosely). My location is just a result of crappy planning by the higher-ups, but what else is new. :bawl:

Your wife runs HR all by herself? Either a euphemism just flew over my head, or she's really talented! :)

But that's a resoundingly good idea! I'll dig through the movers' stuff and see if they have any staple guns so I can "accidentally" staple some mouths shut. :hehehmm:

Do what I do, fart periodically in the hallway. I am so good at it Sprint just can't lay me off...they just can't :bawl:

I know I'm about to get :johnwoo2: for this, but I found Office Space to be funny, but certainly not "the best" or a "glorious" movie. *hides*

Working with women is always such fun. I work in an office of all women and all they do is gossip and backstab eachother. It's so relaxing :D
