looking for a printer

I'm looking for a simple low priced printer. Will mostly be used for B/W printing. I've looked at the Canon S600, HP 842c as well as a few Epsons but all seem to have mixed reviews whether it be loud, slow, or ink consume monsters. Has anybody purchased a printer (inexpensive) for simple B/W printing that they are actually happy with? Thanks

I bought a low-end Epson for 49$ at Fry's. Does color too. I dont use it heavily, but it works just fine.
