Its kinda hard to brag about someone else's accomplishments. Now if you were the one that talked the dealer down to 27.5k on a 35k car, then I would be like. WOW damn! Now the question is this, did he pay cash or did he finance? Cuz that makes a hell lot of a difference. If its not financed right, you could be making it up with the interest.

Plus it's a 6! Why kind of self-respecting male would buy a truck 2 cylinders short?

Yeah, that's right, I just called your dad out. You are both girlies!

:D

V8 is key for this kind of vehicle

man... :(

DF: invoice is ~32,650...
Jih: it's my Dad...so cmon, I can brag about my dad.. "my dad's cooler than yours!" :P
Penny/Brain...he doesn't offroad, and he doesn't tow anything..
he'll be using it to travel 45 miles each way for work (and off the highway, he works in boondocks where snow ain't really cleared as well as it should be, so that's why he wanted a 4x4, and he needs cargo space for stuff he does - so no 4wheel sedans, wagons, maybe...)....
so, for him, the fuel efficiency was more important than power...
that's y he got I6, rather than V8 (and according to edmunds, he would've gotten some 'incentive discounts' and what not with V8, so, theoretically, it would've been a better deal for him to get V8, but he went with needs, instead of pure power...
