i still need to figger out what to do for dad. i got mom two things of perfume from sephora, and the little mermaid/snow white dvd combo. wait, i know what to do! stick my SISTER with figgerin out dad's gift.

damn. and i need to figger out what to get my sister.

my kid gets a mr potato head and some blues clues figurines and some blues clues viewmaster reels. and maybe my old pc if i can git my grubby lil mitts on a new one.

i guess i'll get sheet music, or other paraphernalia related to their respective instruments, for my two peckerhead buddies. and i guess that covers it. unless emily post thinks otherwise, i don't think i need to worry about the former husband and inlaws.

I haven't even started shopping yet, thanks for the reminder...:eek: I'm thinking of bunk beds for the kids, and jeep parts for dh. Although why he would want to take a perfectly good jeep and mess with it is beyond me. If all these "things" are so good, why aren't they already put on from the factory??? Oops sorry, this should be a whole different thread. ;)

It doesn't really matter how often you get paid cause you still get the same amount of money it is just divided up differently. But I guess the more often the better as far as bills and stuff.
I get paid every two weeks which seems to be the most common.

I get paid twice monthly. But since we have a year-end shutdown from Dec 22 'til Jan 2, they will give us the "Dec 31" check on Dec. 21, which gives me 5 checks. In addition, there's the year-end bonus, but I'm not expecting it to be too big this year (last year was about 12%) - probably in the 5-6% range.
