You should be able to go into "Add/Remove Programs" in your control panel and remove IE6, this will revert it back to the one you had before.... I think

I've tried that, it didn't work. Had to reinstall Windows because it wanted to keep IE6

Weird, after I upgraded to IE6 everything seems to be somewhat faster instead of slower as you said.

I would have to agree, I find IE6 to be far faster than IE5 or any of the variations of it.

I've gone back to IE5 cause the navigation on 6 is so bad. How do you go back/forward more than one page at a time? Where's the pulldown window for your recently visited sites? And I wasn't fond of 6's "omnipresence." When my friends come over and want to check their e-mail they can't just log me out of hotmail like before. They have to sign me out of Hotmail, Messenger, and the whole MSN freakin Central Headquarters She-bang all together. Fortunately, for me IE6 doesn't seem to have replaced 5. My 5 icon is still there so I just run that and leave 6 alone.

If you right click the back button it'll give you a list of pages you've been to before and you just click which one you want to go back to. And in my comp whenever I go to hotmail's site it prompts for the password and gives a change username link, all you have to do is click that and enter the username and pw, I can leave MSN messenger running too.

i hate IE6, i really do. and it's true, you can never get rid of it unless you reformat...or if you can, i don't know of any method
